I grew up and have lived for over 30 years on Okinawa, Japan’s southernmost island. Okinawa has a unique cultural and historical background distinct from mainland Japan, shaped by a fascinating blend of influences from various countries and regions. Recently, it has become a popular destination for international tourists as well as Japanese visitors.
Growing up in such a diverse environment sparked my interest in English from a young age, and I have always loved connecting with people through language exchange. Communicating in English with people from around the world brings me a lot of joy.
